Left side is a correct clock retainer with correct three point spring steel clip on the right the tips of the clip have been cut off to fit inside a dash clock bezel. They didn't figure out it needed to be turned to wind it and unless they were planing on rolling the car over several times a week or doing fast back and forth movements with the car it would not wind.

Two at a time, these things are rare so to have two together at one time is a rare sight.
